Arkadelphia Success Story

Arkadelphia High School is a rural school with a strong college-going tradition and a free and reduced lunch rate that fluctuates between 5060%. With the hope of encouraging every student to attend either college or postsecondary workforce training, officials set out to improve students ACT簧 test scores to help open many different paths to success. They implemented several strategies with this goal in mind, including: 

  • PreACT簧 testing
  • An 做厙TVprep day at a nearby university workshop
  • Events to get teachers, families, and the community involved in promoting college and career readiness 

Understanding our own culture and what its doing to contribute to college readiness is important.
